Pan asked for my top honeymoon destinations!

Last summer and this summer I went to multiple European countries
and I still haven't gone to Italy, Greece, Malta and Spain.

I still feel my backpacking trip across Europe wasn't complete.

I love Northern Europe but I still want to go to the overrated parts of Europe
because curiosity kills me.

I realized that I got inspiration to write stories and poems
when I travel.
I also like to take pictures with film camera when I travel
because films are raw and pure.
It's more than just pictures when it comes to films.
It's the story and the feeling that they capture that I like.

Pan wants to write my top 3 honeymoon destinations.
(Not getting married anytime soon, but it's good for future reference)

Well, I take the opportunity as it is - to outsource my next travel expenses.
Thanks, Pan.
You asked for it.

When finding the right place for honeymoon,
there are a few factors to consider.

1. Budget
2. Activities that both of us will enjoy
3. How long will the honeymoon be

I guess the third factors can be answered easily.
I want a 7D-6N honeymoon.
Why?
Because I just want the whole week off
and don't get me wrong,
the 7days will include traveling days.

The kind of activities that we will enjoy?
I know that we're both a foodie.
We like to try new food, but not necessarily eat a lot.
Pan doesn't mind spending a fortune on food.

So, places with good food.

I like somewhere with nice scenery.
Pan likes hiking.
I don't enjoy scorching hot weather
but I like water activities like snorkelling.
Pan loves swimming.

So, activities are sorted out.

When considering all the factors, I decided on these three honeymoon places
for Pan to pick from hehe.

1. Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre (pronounced CHINK-weh TAY-reh) – translated as
five lands and also known as 5 Terre,
is a collection of five towns along Northwest Italy's Ligurian Coast.
Formerly remote fishing villages -
Monterosso, Manarola, Vernazza, Corniglia and Riomaggiore
are now connected by train, and the rest of the world has taken notice of
their laid-back vibe, their delicious olives and
their transcendent trails that weave through the towns and hug the coastline.
I don't think I will spend 7 days here but it's one of the places that I want to go after
touring buzzy Rome or art-filled Florence *winks*.

Some of the recommended activities that can be done here are

1.  Trekking or hiking the trails that connect the small villages of Cinque Terre
 (Parco Nazionale Cinque Terre)

2. Enjoy the food at the 5 fishing villages

3. Boat tours where the experience of cruising the water
is often accompanied by delicious snacks, drinks or even multi-course Italian meals.
And weather-permitting, many boat operators stop in little-known coves along the tour for swim breaks.

2. Seychelles

I heard about this place from Nusaiba, because her parents went there for their honeymoon.
When I did my research on Seychelles, I fell in love with it.

Mother Nature was unbelievably generous with the Seychelles,
a fabled paradise whose islands lie scattered across the Indian Ocean.
Spellbinding beaches are the main attraction.
Beyond the beach, diving and snorkelling are brilliant in the warm waters amid abundant marine life, while few places on the planet do ocean-side luxury quite like the Seychelles.

Mahé is the largest island and entry point to the Seychelles,
with some fabulous resorts, restaurants and beaches,
not to mention the small capital city of Victoria.
But it's also the busiest island, with glorious Praslin and La Digue a short boat ride away.
Even further out, there are real lost-world islands to be found.

So we got the activities all covered here too!

3. Santorini

Believe it or not, I want to go to Santorini, Greece for these two reasons:

1. Sunsets
Nature’s handiwork is on display from any waterfront seat come sundown, but prime sunset-viewing is in Oia, where thousands of tourists flock to admire (and applaud) nightfall.

2. Swimming
Take the plunge: at your hotel’s infinity pool or your suite’s private plunge pool, from the edge of a boat on a caldera cruise or on a black-sand beach on the east coast.

Ofc there are so many places that I wanna go to for different purposes.
I wish I could travel for living and write about everything I do when traveling
but oh well, I hardly write these days because I just do not have any idea on what to write on.

I just realized I haven't touched on the first factor of the honeymoon trip: Budget.

So as for the budget wise....hmm.
When I travel on my own, I often plan this rather carefully.
But you know, since this will be an outsourced trip,
I'd say,
the travel experience will be worth the money spent.
With that, I thank you, Pan.
