Life In Canada

I thought this post should come after
my NY post,
but never mind :P

Someone asked me about life in Canada
and my answer is;
it's wonderful and definitely a golden life experience that everyone wants to treasure.

I really love and enjoy my life here.

If you plan on living here for the rest of your life,
that will be awesome too but
some researches need to be done;
you have to consider everything first
because Canada is using federal system,
every system exists depends on it provinces.

ie,
the educational system, health care, taxation.

I live in Montreal,
in Quebec province and the tax is expensive!

15-16% for the tax!

Haha, but if you're planning on living here for the rest of your life,
do apply for permanent resident and
if your kids are born as Canadians,
that would be a great advantage
in terms of everything.

Tuition fee is cheap etc.
Canada does accept a lot of immigrants
but it generates its income from the immigrants too!
((Mainly because of the tax, Canadians have to pay only $3000 per year for university tuition fee,
and international students have to pay $33000!))
Thanks a lot to my sponsor for giving me this golden chance!

Canadians are super nice!
The reason why I think this post should come after my NY post
is because when I went to NY, they're not that friendly.
Even when you want to ask for prices in certain shops,
they answer you like you've done major mistakes,
they're like shouting to you hahah!

I know I can't judge the Americans based on some New Yorkers;
but so far,
every shop that I go here in Montreal,
or Ottawa or even Toronto;
they're super friendly and nice!

You will feel very welcoming!

That's one of thousands parts that I like about Canada.

Canada also has great views;
if you're not a city girl,
you'll definitely love Canada :)

xx,
petite Malay girl in Canada <3
