Juice Fasting Day 3 went wrong!

Idk what's wrong with the juice that I made,
but I guess the celery that I put was too much.
I didn't quite like the taste of my juice yesterday!

So,
today, I added on a tablespoon of ACV into my juice,
it turned to be sour,
I love sour drinks!

I am okay for today!

I finished class at 4-ish today and I've done
something I shouldn't be doing!

A sinful pleasure!

I was rewatching We Got Married, Yongseo couple HAHAHA

I should be spending my time studying, but
aigoo!

I only watched two episodes tho!
(trying to remember my NY resolution)

#lessonoftheday
Never judge a book by its cover

Toldcha! My first impression is alwaaaays wrong!

I had my CCOM 206 class just now,
Communication in Engineering.
Before the class started, I went to the bookstore,
I had to buy textbooks,
and I was contemplating whether I should buy
Grammar Exercise book or not.

I guess my English is getting rustier by days,
I haven't been reading proper books tho
and also,
I didn't have my awesome English teachers here that could always
guide me :/

I am also no longer in debate,
I don't involve in activities that has to do speaking anymore;
so it's not healthy for me.

I have to solve this problem!
This is due to the future things that I have to do;
applying for internships, jobs.
Do research papers and such.

Therefore, CCOM 206 is a course that I would want to consider.

I was 30 minutes early,
the class started at 2.35;
Friday prayer ended earlier today.

So yeah.

While waiting,
I saw a datin-looking lady,
also waiting outside of the classroom.
There's a French class going on in that classroom.
She looked so unapproachable;
You do know how a datin looks like, right?

Ok la, we have some datins in Malaysia,
who are extra friendly.

But some aren't.

They will look at you like you're from another planet;
looking at you from head to toe.

However,
this lady wasn't looking at me from head to toe,
 but she just had that datin aura.

In my head, "I'm dead! She might be my instructor"

As we entered the class,
she started the introduction part and started the lecture;
OMG she's so nice! She's so sincere!
I can see that she's very passionate in teaching!

She's no longer has the datin image!

She was doing eye contact with everyone;
it was a very small class, which it consisted of 20-ish people.

Some of my friends are also in the same section as me;
so, that's so cool!

Her goals are clear!
1. She'll teach us how to use language accurately.
2. She will guide us how to communicate well as an engineer (research paper).
3. She will ensure we will write the best resume so good company can hire us!
4. She will guide us how to write business proposal using business language :)

OMG,
those are the exact things that I want to learn!

In that class,
there's an activity where we had to be a grammar Nazi
and correct the 20 common mistakes that students always do.

She randomly picked a name,
and we had to correct the sentences.

My name was called,
and I was like *pengsan*!

It's not that I didn't know;
it's just that,
I had to get it right,
for the pride of all my English teachers!
They taught me well in high school;
I didn't want to embarrass them!

"The sentence was wrong because it used 'compared with' instead of 'compared to' ",
nervously answered the question.

"Yes! Correct! Not everyone can see this mistake," she replied with
a very impressed look.

I was like
"Fuhhh! Thank God!"

But I still have a lot to improve tho,
I have to start reading good books,
to enhance my vocabulary.

The learning process will never have
an ending to it.

I used to think that I was done with English class;
I was wrong.

Even if I was done with the formal English class,
I still have to learn more by myself.

As for now,

welcome to my desk!
